Construction Quality Assurance / Warranty Administration

 

 

 

This phase shall provide the necessary construction administration and quality assurance inspections during the course of construction. Performance under this phase provides the needed insurance for contractor specification/installation compliance, quality workmanship, and long-term performance of the specified roof system. The following is the general "scope of work" to be performed under this Phase:

• Assist/Manage pre-construction meeting to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing of construction, approved staging areas, and adherence to any special owner requirements.
• Major phase inspections and weekly quality assurance inspections are standard/mandatory project services.
• Inspection of roof deck (water test, deck pull-out resistance test, etc.)
• Inspection of the different roof system installations prior to cover-up.
• Inspection of roof related sheet metal installation.
• Full-time quality assurance inspections during roof related applications available.
• Assist/Manage weekly progress job-site meetings.
• Assist in pay application approval/notification
• Assist/Provide "punch list" inspection and verification of completion.
• Assist/Provide verification and submission of final project "close out" documents.
• Assist/Provide identification and completion of all warranty claims during the life of the system.
